Axess received the order from Dolomiti Superski
In cooperation with the national Ski organization ANEF and the Institute of Nuclear physics
(INFN) of the University of Padua, the consortium Dolomiti Superski initiated the project
EDELWEISS around 1 1/2 years ago. This was the basis for the implementation of new Ski pass
systems.
The leading providers of Ski systems were invited to make offers to realize such a project.
After an elaborate evaluation, the members of the consortium Dolomiti Superski, follow the
proposal made by the project group lead by Dr. Sandro Lazzari to get Axess AG to realize
the project.
Around 500 access points to cable cars and lifts in 12 different valleys will be equipped
with around 1.500 Axess Readers and 500 Axess Point of Sale systems by the season
2004/2005.
This project was introduced to international specialists at the exhibition Alpitec 2003 in
Bolzano.
