AXESS AG and its U.S.-Partner Rapidtron, Inc. supply new access system in 2005
'Mountains of powder and mild weather'. It's what has earned Solitude its
name, and it's what has been drawing families from across the country for generations.
Nearly a decade ago, Solitude’s management recognized an opportunity to differentiate
themselves with a unique electronic ticketing system. Since then, they have put numerous
unique ticket products on the market that benefit the customer.
Solitude realized that skiing and riding are not about restrictions, but freedom, and they
have made it more attainable and flexible for their guests. All of their ticketing options
are based around
Smart Card
technology; a flexible, and environmentally friendly, program in which a card can
be placed in a pocket and scanned automatically on approaching and accessing the lift.
Based on these years of experience and positive feedback of their guests, Gary DeSeelhorst
and his team recently decided to take the next step in ticketing and access control, by
awarding Austrian international market leader AXESS and their U.S.-partner Rapidtron to
supply “The 5th generation” in access control for winter 2005/06.
