MT. HIGH STARTS SEASON

With tons of snow, sunny skies and thousands of people in attendance, Mt. High held It’s "Buck Off" season pass sales event on Saturday, September 2nd.

Three trucks transported more than 100 tons of ice to Mt. High that was then shredded and turned to snow, covering the terrain park so that the snowboarders and skiers would be ready to go by noon.

Parallel to the outside event the season pass sale with the new Axess equipment took place at the office right next to the newly created terrain park. Hundreds of boarders and skiers took the opportunity to purchase their new passes at special pre-season prices. Sherri Cater, responsible for Business Solutions and Technology at Mt. High, was more than happy with the results of their new Axess POS. "All of my cashiers remarked that the overall data entry simplicity, speed and versatility with this system is so much easier than it was before."

Easy handling lowers transaction time and so increases the mood of both: cashier and guest.  For Mt. High it is now clearer than ever that changing to Axess was the right decision. The next step in this project is to prepare and install the Axess gantry mount gates.
