its own subsidiary, Axess/North America LLC, headquartered in Park City, UT. “By
establishing a subsidiary we will be better able to understand and meet the needs of this
market while making business transactions with a European based company much easier“,

Founded by fifteen partners with more than twenty years of experience in development and
design of ticketing and access control systems for winter resorts, AXESS has grown to a
team of more than 100 experts and with installations in more than 25 countries in just
eight years. Industrial competence, open technologies, standardized products, RFID chip
card technologies and the Internet have determined the company‘s profile and made it
a leading supplier of European resorts.
AXESS is now bringing their proven and reliable solutions, already interfaced with leading
software providers such as RTP, SIRIUS and COMPTROL, to the North American resort industry.

In 2004, the company realized the largest and most challenging access system project to
date in the resort industry, for Dolomiti Superski in Italy. 450 ski lifts have been
equipped with 1500 of the new AX 500 Smart Gate, more than 300 point-of-sale systems and
over 4 Million of the new one-way RFID Smart Cards.
