Axess focuses on environmental protection
Axess is a trendsetter when it comes to new technologies for ticketing and access systems. Now the company is also committed to the environment.
In order to set an example for environmental protection, Axess AG has replaced the printed operating manuals with an online version, which saves several tons of paper every year. Customers no longer receive long manuals for purchased products, but can easily download the online version of their manual using the enclosed card with QR Code.
Oliver Suter, CSO and CEO of Axess AG, explains his environmentally friendly idea: "We are constantly striving to further develop the company in the 'green spirit'. Every contribution we can make, no matter how small, makes a difference, and that is why Axess is also deeply involved in environmental protection. Save the planet' is not just a slogan for us, it is part of our daily life. “
Another new product with environmental considerations is the ORGANIC smart card. After a detailed test phase and trial use, the new card is now available. It makes an ecologically important contribution without limiting the full functionality of the card. As usual, a wide variety of ticket variants such as hourly, day or multi-day tickets, debitable value cards or event tickets can be loaded. The environmentally friendly and sustainable ticket is made almost entirely out of paper, and can be captured by the gate contactlessly. The ORGANIC smart card is disposed of in the waste paper recycling bin and also reduces the use of plastic in ticket production.
