Automated access control in trains & ski areas in Catalonia

The Catalan railroad company "Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya" presented improvements recently implemented by Axess. One highlight at the FGC managed ski resort Vall de Núria: automated access control to railway trains through the implementation of an online ticketing system. The entire project was part of a digitization strategy and enables automatic control of capacity in trains and ski resorts.

"The Little Train" rolls again – great journey in La Mure

After a landslide in October 2010 repairs to the line of the Petit Train de La Mure, south of Grenoble, have been completed after more than ten years of work. The reopening of the tourist line connecting Saint-Georges-de-Commiers with La Mure, in the south of the Isère department, will take place in June. The company EDEIS, which operates the tourist train, turned to Axess to install a modern access control system.
